Abstract

Oral hygiene in children is a crucial aspect of maintaining overall health and preventing dental diseases. This article examines modern approaches to developing good dental hygiene habits in children, including the role of parents and mentors, effective toothbrushing techniques, and the use of fluoride toothpastes. Particular attention is paid to preventing dental caries, organizing regular dental checkups, and creating conditions for independent dental care. The recommendations presented are aimed at developing long-term healthy habits and reducing the risk of dental problems from an early age.
