Abstract

This article discusses proteins, which are essential biological macromolecules found in all living organisms. The concept of proteins, their structure, and their constituent components are explained. The article also describes the four levels of protein structure and the various functions they perform, including structural, enzymatic, transport, immune, signaling, and energetic roles. The importance of proteins in biology, medicine, and everyday life is emphasized. This work aims to strengthen theoretical knowledge about proteins and to promote understanding of their practical applications.
