Abstract
This article analyzes the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the human heart, its stages of development throughout life, and age-related changes. It describes the transformations in the mass, shape, and histological structure of the heart during infancy, middle age, and old age. The article also highlights one of the current trends in modern cardiology — determining the biological and pathological age of the heart using ECG signals, as well as the significance of ECG monitoring in the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
