Abstract
This article analyzes the distinctive characteristics of the form of government of the Republic of Uzbekistan from scientific-theoretical and practical perspectives. The concept of the form of the state is explained through its structural elements - the form of government, the form of state structure, and the political regime. It substantiates that the Republic of Uzbekistan has a presidential form of government, is a unitary state in terms of its territorial structure, and is developing as a democratic, rule-of-law, and secular state
