Abstract
This article analyzes the issue of protecting employees’ personal data from legal and organizational perspectives. It examines the employer’s obligations related to the collection, storage, processing, and protection of personal data, as well as the rights of employees as personal data subjects. The article highlights the significance of national legislation, including the Law “On Personal Data,” the Labor Code, and internal local regulations. Particular attention is paid to information security measures, both technical and organizational, international best practices, and emerging legal risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence technologies. The article has practical value for employers and professionals and contributes to ensuring legality and transparency in labor relations.
