Abstract
This article analyzes effective methods and modern pedagogical approaches to developing English speaking skills among technical college students. In today’s globalization process, the ability to use foreign languages, especially English, fluently and confidently in oral communication is considered one of the key competencies. Therefore, increasing students’ activity in the classroom, encouraging them to express their ideas freely, and creating a communicative learning environment are regarded as urgent tasks. In addition, the article examines ways to reduce students’ psychological barriers, teach them to speak without fear of making mistakes, and enhance their motivation. As a result, these approaches are justified as effective in developing technical college students’ oral communication competence, expanding their vocabulary, and strengthening their ability to communicate in English in real-life situations
