Abstract
This article analyzes the development of the education system and pedagogical ideas in Uzbekistan in 1924-1991, as well as the process of formation of educational and pedagogical concepts in the years of independence. The article considers the education system of the Soviet era, methodological innovations, national traditions and pedagogical approaches of independent Uzbekistan.
