Ecological Culture as Reflected in Uzbek Folk Proverbs

Abstract

This article analyzes the expression of ecological culture in Uzbek folk proverbs, the people's views on nature conservation, and the role of ecological values in oral literature. It examines the reflection of natural elements such as land, water, trees, and wildlife in proverbs, as well as the moral and educational guidance they convey and the factors influencing the formation of ecological awareness. Additionally, the article highlights the significance of the ecological values embodied in these proverbs for contemporary ecological education and upbringing.
