Abstract
This paper examines communicative ability and its role in pedagogical activity. Communicative ability is interpreted as an important factor that ensures effective communication between the teacher and the student in the pedagogical process. The study analyzes the main components of communicative ability, such as the ability to understand an individual, self-awareness, and the ability to correctly assess communication situations.
