Abstract
This article is dedicated to the history of the development of world pedagogical science from ancient times to the first half of the 19th century, specifically focusing on the pedagogical theory of J.A. Comenius. The article provides an in-depth study of Comenius's pedagogical theories. Additionally, information is provided on organizing lessons according to Comenius's pedagogy and its significance in today's modern education system.
His pedagogical theory stands out for the advanced ideas of his time and remains of great importance today. Comenius considered education a vital factor in human development and social progress. He identified the primary goal of education as the intellectual, moral, and physical development of a person. In one of his most famous works, "Didactica Magna" (The Great Didactic), Comenius details the principles and methods of education
