Abstract
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the modernization of the world education system and the development processes of pedagogical science in the contemporary era. It highlights how the content, forms, and methods of education are being radically transformed as a result of globalization, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and the widespread implementation of open education platforms. The research conducts a comparative analysis of the experiences of developed (USA, Japan, South Korea, Finland) and developing countries, emphasizing the effectiveness of innovative approaches, competency-based education, student-centered learning, and remote and hybrid education models. Furthermore, it explores the current development stages of pedagogical science, revealing the significance of the constructivist approach, STEAM education, inclusive education, digital pedagogy, and the concept of lifelong learning. The article also discusses the formation of students' knowledge, skills, and competencies based on international evaluation criteria (PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS). Ultimately, the study serves to determine the role of educational reforms in social progress, the professional development of pedagogical staff, the socio-economic importance of education, and the prospects of the future education model.
