Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of digital platforms in developing communicative competence in English among technical college students. In the context of modern education, the widespread integration of information and communication technologies requires the implementation of innovative methodological approaches in English language teaching. The study highlights the mechanisms for developing students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through online platforms, mobile applications, interactive exercises, and multimedia resources. Furthermore, the role of digital tools in enhancing students’ motivation, fostering independent learning skills, and ensuring an individualized approach is substantiated. The research findings demonstrate that systematic and purposeful use of digital platforms in technical colleges contributes significantly to the effective formation of communicative competence in English.
