Abstract
This article analyzes the semantic, functional and cultural characteristics of language units expressing positive semantic mood in English and Uzbek. The study studies words, expressions, and phraseological units expressing positive mood based on examples, revealing their linguocultural and linguocognitive aspects. As a result of the comparative analysis, it is determined that there are commonalities and national-cultural differences in the expression of positive emotions in both languages. The results of the article are of great importance for the fields of semantics, cognitive linguistics and intercultural communication.
