Abstract
This article covers the stages of development of education, school and pedagogical ideas in Central Asia from the 7th century to the first half of the 14th century. The formation of the school and madrasah system as a result of the introduction of Islam, the views of scholars such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Biruni on education during the period of the Eastern Renaissance are analyzed. The development of science during the Timurid era, the humanitarian ideas of Alisher Navoi, and the state of the traditional education system in the first half of the 14th century are also considered.
