Abstract
This article examines nematodes associated with dog rose (Rosa canina L.) in Surkhandarya, Uzbekistan, with particular attention to feeding guilds and their ecological interpretation. Root and rhizosphere samples are treated as distinct habitats. Morphological identification is interpreted together with ecological context. The presence of a tax on alone is not considered evidence of pathogenicity. The paper discusses diagnostic considerations and the scope of conclusions supported by descriptive sampling.
