Abstract
This thesis theoretically examines the pedagogical and methodological foundations of introducing rugby into the system of physical culture. The role of rugby in the educational process, its importance in developing students’ physical qualities, as well as its pedagogical potential in fostering teamwork, willpower, and the ability to make quick decisions are analyzed. In addition, effective methods for organizing rugby training sessions, ways of integrating them into the educational process, and their role in the modern system of physical education are scientifically and theoretically substantiated. This thesis reveals that rugby sport is an important pedagogical tool for application in physical education and sports training.
