Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical foundations, forms and methods of pedagogical and psychological study of students. In the modern education system, it is important to study the personality of students in depth, to identify their individual characteristics, abilities and interests. The study of students’ psychological and pedagogical characteristics allows teachers to organize the educational process effectively and apply an individual approach in teaching. During the research, various methods such as observation, interview, questionnaire, testing and pedagogical experiment were used to study students. The results of the research show that the pedagogical and psychological study of students plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of education, identifying students’ abilities and supporting their personal development.
