Abstract
This article discusses the methodology of teaching texts through pictures and illustrations in primary school reading lessons. It analyzes how visual materials help students understand text content, enrich imagination, develop logical and creative thinking, and increase motivation to read. The paper also highlights the effectiveness of activities such as question-and-answer tasks, storytelling based on illustrations, sequencing events, and creative exercises in improving text comprehension.
