Development of Learners’ Information and Communication Competence Based on Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

The pedagogical opportunities for developing learners’ information and communication competence through the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process are continuously expanding. In the modern educational environment, the ability to search for information, critically evaluate, select, process, and effectively use it through digital tools, as well as properly organize information exchange, is regarded as one of the essential competencies of learners. From this perspective, artificial intelligence technologies serve as a modern pedagogical tool capable of promoting learners’ independent inquiry, improving their information-handling skills, and enhancing their communicative activities. This thesis highlights the content of information and communication competence, its structural components, and the possibilities of integrating them with artificial intelligence tools.
