Abstract
This thesis examines the role of problem-based learning technologies in developing students’ cognitive activity, independent thinking, and practical competencies. The pedagogical significance of the stages of creating a problem-based situation, identifying the problem, proposing a hypothesis, analyzing evidence, and drawing conclusions is highlighted.
