Abstract
This thesis proposes a methodology for evaluating semantic search (embedding) models for Uzbek-language texts. In addition to measuring search accuracy, the methodology examines factors specific to the Uzbek language, including script type, apostrophe characters, word forms, and model robustness to paraphrasing.
