Abstract
This article provides a scientific analysis of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on the performance style of Uzbek national musical instruments — dutor, tanbur, g’ijjak, doira, nay, and chang. The article examines the compatibility of AI-generated music with the national maqom tradition, the possibilities and risks of algorithmic modeling, and the challenges of preserving the timbre of Uzbek instruments in a digital environment. The research findings demonstrate that AI can serve as a powerful tool in musical creativity, however it is unable to fully recreate the subtle characteristics of national style.
