Abstract
The work aims to systematize the criteria for the differential diagnosis of wheezing syndromes in children during the first years of life. A comparative analysis is conducted between bronchial asthma, congenital respiratory tract anomalies, foreign body aspiration, and infectious obstructions (bronchiolitis). The abstract proposes a diagnostic algorithm to help clinicians avoid overdiagnosing asthma and ensure appropriate therapy in early childhood.
