Abstract

This thesis examines how digital footprints affect personal data security and how information culture should be shaped through legal and ethical norms. The study applies legal analysis, comparative reasoning, and conceptual modeling. The novelty lies in an integrative framework linking digital footprint risks to information culture components and in developing educational recommendations to reduce privacy and security risks in everyday digital practices.
