Abstract

This article analyzes the main agroecological factors determining soil fertility based on the literature. The effects of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil, organic matter, pH, nutrients, moisture, and salinity on soil fertility are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the agroecological condition of irrigated soils in the Fergana Valley.
