The Use of Symbolism in English and Karakalpak Literature

Abstract

This study explores the role and significance of symbolism in English and Karakalpak literary. The study focuses on symbolism as an important literary device through which writers express complex ideas, emotions, cultural values, and social problems. First, it defines the concepts of symbol and symbolism and considers their functions in literary works. In addition, the research analyzes the use of symbolic elements in selected English and Karakalpak literary, including  F.Scott Fitzgerald and Muratbay Nizanov’s writings .
