Abstract
This thesis analyzes the existing practice of managing faculty work performance in higher education institutions based on key performance indicators (KPI). The study examines the organizational, economic, informational, and control components of the KPI system and substantiates a management mechanism that ensures their interconnection. Taking into account the experience of foreign universities, practical proposals for improving the KPI system in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan have been developed. The thesis includes recommendations aimed at linking work outcomes with incentives, increasing assessment transparency, and ensuring the achievement of universities’ strategic objectives.
