Abstract
This scientific thesis analyzes the presentation and semantic definitions of lexical units related to condolence and mourning rituals in sources of Uzbek national lexicography, particularly in the “Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language.” The principles of presenting mourning-related vocabulary in the dictionary, as well as the emotional and stylistic features of these lexical units, are evaluated.
