Abstract
This thesis discusses the main difficulties encountered when teaching Uzbek as a foreign language to Korean-speaking learners and effective methodological approaches to overcoming them. Although Korean and Uzbek share certain similarities, including the general subject–object–verb (SOV) word order and the expression of grammatical meaning through suffixes, learners face specific challenges in using case and possessive suffixes, verb tenses, converb and participle forms, pronunciation, and lexical collocations. The thesis proposes effective methods such as comparative analysis, contextual teaching, step-by-step exercises, communicative tasks, visual materials, and error-based learning.
