The concept of word choice in simultaneous interpreting

Abstract

In the translation process, word selection is one of the most important aspects of translation. The degree to which a word is accurately chosen reflects the translator's skill on one hand, and demonstrates the quality of the translation on the other. This article briefly addresses the problems that syncronists may encounter in the simultaneous translation process and their solutions.
