Abstract

This study explores the pedagogical potential of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in enhancing students’ speech activity. The increasing integration of immersive technologies into educational settings creates new opportunities for developing learners’ communicative competence and oral expression. The research aims to identify effective methods of using VR environments to stimulate students’ speech activity and improve their communication skills. A mixed-method approach was employed, including classroom observations, experimental instruction, and analysis of students’ speaking performance. The findings indicate that VR-based learning environments increase students’ motivation, engagement, and frequency of verbal interaction. The study concludes that VR technologies can serve as an effective pedagogical tool for fostering speech development and communicative competence.
