Abstract
Diffuse liver lesions represent one of the major challenges in modern gastroenterology and hepatology. These pathological conditions include hepatic steatosis, chronic hepatitis, liver fibrosis, and cirrhosis. Imaging modalities play a crucial role in the early detection of these diseases and in assessing the severity and progression of liver damage. Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) provide valuable information about the morphological and functional status of the liver. This article analyzes the diagnostic capabilities of the main imaging methods used in the detection and evaluation of diffuse liver lesions.
