Abstract

This paper analyzes the current state of media education implementation among young people in Uzbekistan, its role in the educational process, and its effectiveness. It also examines the level of media literacy among youth, their culture of using digital technologies and social media, and the development of critical information evaluation skills. The study reviews the measures being implemented to promote media education in Uzbekistan, identifies existing challenges, and outlines future directions for its development. The findings demonstrate that media education is one of the key factors in enhancing young people's intellectual potential, civic responsibility, and information security.
