Abstract
This thesis examines the role and socio-philosophical essence of social entrepreneurship in fostering an inclusive society. It argues that social entrepreneurship is not merely an activity that combines economic benefit with a social mission, but also an effective mechanism for expanding equal opportunities, reducing social exclusion, strengthening the agency of vulnerable social groups, and promoting social solidarity. The study is methodologically grounded in A. Sen's capability approach, J. Rawls' theory of justice, M. Yunus' concept of social business, the theory of social entrepreneurship developed by J. Defourny and M. Nyssens, as well as the perspectives of Uzbek scholars on social justice and civil society. The research identifies the economic, axiological, integrative, and agency-building functions that define the inclusive nature of social entrepreneurship. The principle of "opportunity-creating inclusion" is proposed as an integrative concept reflecting the socio-philosophical essence of social entrepreneurship.
