Abstract
This thesis examines the effectiveness of using molecular hydrogen as part of comprehensive therapy for headache in patients with arterial hypertension and chronic cerebral ischemia. The relevance of the study is обусловлена by the high prevalence of cephalgic syndrome in this category of patients and the need to explore additional therapeutic approaches aimed not only at reducing the severity of headache but also at correcting the pathogenetic mechanisms of cerebrovascular disorders. Particular attention is paid to the potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cytoprotective effects of molecular hydrogen. The study proposes to assess changes in the intensity and frequency of headaches, their impact on patients’ daily activities, as well as changes in clinical and functional indicators during comprehensive treatment. The possibility of using molecular hydrogen as an additional component of standard therapy in patients with concomitant arterial hypertension and chronic cerebral ischemia is considered. The results may contribute to clarifying the therapeutic role of molecular hydrogen and determining the prospects for its further use in the comprehensive treatment of cerebrovascular pathology.
