Abstract
This article examines the specific characteristics of military terminology and the structural-semantic aspects of lexical terms denoting military clothing and ranks. The relevance of this topic is determined by a number of factors. The aim of the article is to conduct a comparative structural-semantic analysis of military terms in English and Uzbek, which makes it possible not only to compare military terms in Uzbek and English but also to identify their specific features.
