Abstract
The article deeply analyzes the role of the scientific heritage of the 9th-century great scholar and astronomer Ahmad al-Farghani in the formation and development of European astronomy during the 10th–13th centuries, based on historical and scientific sources. It also highlights the translation of Eastern astronomical ideas into Latin through the Toledo School of Translators, their application as textbooks in European universities, and their impact on subsequent scientific discoveries.
