Abstract
Based on published computational results, the methodological difference in expressing the influence of the Marangoni mechanism on evaporation as a percentage is examined. It is shown that the same change from 2.87 to 4.30 g/(m²·s) corresponds to a 49.83% increase relative to the initial value, whereas the reverse change corresponds to a 33.26% decrease. It is demonstrated that sensitivity values obtained by disabling mechanisms individually should not be summed as independent physical contributions. All numerical values were recalculated from the table reported by Aboubakri and co-authors and do not originate from a new experiment.
