Abstract
This paper examines the process of establishing the Oʻzbekiston Fanlar akademiyasi, the historical factors that influenced its formation, and its role in the development of science. In particular, it analyzes the need to strengthen scientific potential during the period of the Ikkinchi jahon urushi, as well as the issue of creating an independent academy based on the activities of the Uzbekistan branch of the SSSR Fanlar akademiyasi. In addition, the paper briefly discusses the academy’s initial activities, its main tasks, and its contribution to the development of national science and societal progress.
