Abstract

This article explains in a simple and clear way the cultural changes that took place in the Turkestan region after the October Revolution. It mainly focuses on the essence of the cultural revolution carried out by the Bolsheviks, how it was implemented, and how it affected people’s lives. The article describes the campaign to eliminate illiteracy, innovations in the school and education system, changes in the writing system, issues of women’s emancipation, and policies related to religion, all explained with simple examples. At the same time, it highlights not only the positive aspects of these changes but also their negative impact on the people’s traditions and national values.
