Abstract
This article examines the concept of “mutual trust” in the process of exercising representative power as a socio-philosophical category. The study highlights the role of mutual trust in ensuring the sustainable development of society, as well as its importance in shaping relations between state authorities and citizens. In addition, the role of transparency, accountability, communication, and information technologies in strengthening mutual trust within the activities of local representative bodies is analyzed on a scientific basis. Based on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, the practical aspects of developing trust mechanisms are revealed. The results of the study contribute to improving the efficiency of representative power, strengthening public trust, and developing democratic governance.
