Abstract
This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the main social and psychological factors determining the process of adaptation of preschool children to preschool educational institutions (PSE). The mechanisms of interaction between family relationships, the pedagogical skills of the educator and the individual psychological characteristics of the child in the painless and smooth transition of the child to a new social environment are revealed. Also, practical recommendations are developed to prevent psychological stress during the adaptation period and ensure the social socialization of the child.
