Abstract

This article discusses the Samanid state, which holds a distinctive place and significance in the history and historiography of Central Asia. This state has a unique history. Its study and coverage help to solve many problems in historiography. The Samanid state emerged in the 9th–10th centuries as an important political and cultural center in Central Asian history. This dynasty established an independent state in the regions of Transoxiana and Khorasan, politically separating from the Arab Caliphate. The Samanid state not only ensured political independence but also made a great contribution to the development of science, literature, architecture, and economic life of its time.
