Abstract
This article analyzes the legal and institutional aspects of regulating the activities of family-based non-state preschool educational organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) reports for the period 2022–2025, the study examines the sector’s development dynamics, the subsidy system, and its impact on employment. The research also investigates the growth trends in the number of fam-ilybased preschool institutions, the number of enrolled children, and the number of employed pedagogical staff. Furthermore, the effects of state subsidies, cases of application rejections, existing challenges in the sector, and possible solutions are discussed.
