Abstract

This article investigates the artistic and constructive solutions of a contemporary women's clothing collection created on the basis of traditional Uzbek ikat patterns. The study analyzes the integration of ikat motifs—an important component of the national cultural heritage—into modern fashion design, highlighting their aesthetic and functional potential. The collection concept aims to create an artistic balance between tradition and modernity through the combination of ethnic motifs and innovative design approaches. Particular attention is given to compositional integrity, color and graphic harmony, diversity of silhouettes, and the role of decorative elements in creating a distinctive visual image. The collection achieves aesthetic expressiveness through the contrast of black and white colors, geometric rhythms of ikat patterns, and contemporary constructive forms. The research findings demonstrate the potential of traditional national textiles to enhance competitiveness in the modern fashion industry, promote the development of ethno-design, and present cultural heritage to new generations in an innovative form.
