Abstract
This article provides a scientific analysis of the key pedagogical challenges encountered in developing musical literacy among music school students and the ways to address them through avant-garde pedagogical methods. The article examines the application of modern approaches such as Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Orff Pedagogy, the Kodály Method, constructivist learning, and digital interactive methods within the music school environment. The research findings indicate that overcoming the limitations of traditional music reading and writing instruction through avant-garde methods simultaneously develops musical motivation, creative thinking, and lifelong learning skills in students.
