Abstract
This thesis analyzes the modern methodology for assessing the investment climate in free economic zones (FEZs) of the Republic of Uzbekistan and scientifically based ways to improve their efficiency. The study provides a comparative analysis of 7 main FEZs of Uzbekistan and an assessment of their investment attractiveness according to 23 criteria in 5 groups of factors. Also, the successful experience of FEZs in China, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates was studied and practical recommendations adapted to Uzbekistan were developed.
