Abstract

This article examines the content and structural characteristics of developing general cultural competence in future preschool teacher-educators. The essence of general cultural competence, its structural components, development criteria, and significance in the pedagogical education process are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the role of national and universal values, communicative culture, information culture, and creative activity in the professional training of future teachers. The findings indicate that the development of general cultural competence is an important factor in enhancing professional competence and improving the effectiveness of the educational process.
