The study analyzes Turkey’s position within the Alliance, the mechanisms of foreign policy decision-making based on national interests, the development of the defense industry, and the impact of geopolitical changes on foreign policy. Particular attention is paid to Turkey’s efforts to maintain cooperation with NATO while expanding its capacity for independent foreign policy action.
