Abstract
This article provides a scientific and methodological substantiation of a methodology for improving the fundamental bio-motor qualities — speed, endurance, strength, agility and flexibility — of 15-17-year-old basketball players through a specially designed eight-week training cycle. The training program, developed in accordance with modern pedagogical requirements, is distributed across microcycles, each targeting a specific bio-motor quality. A comparative analysis was carried out between control and experimental groups during the research, revealing considerable positive dynamics in the experimental group. The results obtained confirm the expediency of applying this methodology in physical education lessons and basketball sports sections.
